Principles of Psychobiology

Principles of Psychobiology is a new software package developed for introductory psychobiology or introductory neuroscience students. The software is an interactive study guide that was specifically created to provide students with fundamental information about the critical concepts in the brain sciences. Principles of Psychobiology is the first software of its kind developed to give students interactive tools to study cell biology, resting membrane potentials, action potentials, membrane conduction, postsynaptic potentials, introductory neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, and sensory systems and transduction. The software was created to serve as a tutorial, independent of any specific textbook on the market, and, as a teaching aid, it complements any introductory textbook in Psychobiology, Neuroscience, or Neurobiology. The software is intended to run on the Windows 95 / 98 platform.
