PC Inspector Folder & Service Guard

PC Inspector Folder & Service Guard is a monitoring program specially developed for WINDOWS NT 4.0 and WINDOWS 2000. FSGuard can be used for all kinds of fields of application.

FSGuard can overlook background services and indexes on its own. If a service is stopped or crashes then FSGuard can automatically send a notification through email.

FSGuard can also overlook any amount of indexes. So you can let FSGuard notify you through email when the substance of an index is changed, or when a defined size of an index (FOLDER) is exceeded.

We would like to introduce some sequencing application examples for FSGuard :

EMAIL (Q-MAIL) Monitoring
Email programs like for example Q-Mail writes undeliverable emails in a so called error folder. If you let this folder be watched over for example by FSGuard, then you will immediately receive a notification, when emails are not delivered through Q-Mail or are discarded in an error folder. Through the watch over you will also immediately be notified, when the service is stopped or is ended.

HACKERATTACK / MANIPULATION
Let your WEB server indexes be watched over uninterrupted. If the content of the corresponding index is changed, or that through a hacker attack your homepage is changed, then FSGuard can notify you immediately through email. Also an increase in the speed of the record files can reference to an error or an attack (DOS-attack) . Also in these cases FSGuard can inform you reliably and quickly

LOG-FILES
Let FSGuard watch over your LOG-indexes. You can allow yourself to be informed through an email, when the settled memory size has been reached or exceeded. That way you are directly informed, when there is an error in your LOG-files.

OVERWATCH SERVICES
Watch over any desired service directly on your NT server with FSGuard. Over a comfortable user interface you can easily add the already existing services to be watch over with FSGuard. If a service is stopped or ended you will immediately receive an email.

AUTO RESTART (Only FSGUARD+)
FSGuard+ tries independently to restart services which have stopped or have so called "hung" themselves. Through the so called AUTO RESTART MODUL FSGuard+ can automatically restart the service. Non reacting services are recognized, automatically stopped and restarted.
